How it works
What one transaction looks like, and what we do not do
Two minutes, following a single card from the moment a seller lists it to the moment that seller is paid.
2 min 8 sec / Narrated, with captions and a full transcript
An example, not a listing. Every screen in the walkthrough is a recorded example built for this page. No card, price, member or order shown in it is real, and nothing in it is for sale.
The walkthrough is narrated the whole way through. If you hear nothing, raise your device volume and check that the player is not muted. The captions carry the same words either way, and the transcript is at the foot of this page.
Every figure it states
Each of these traces to a written decision. Where a number is published but not yet enforced in code, it says so, because the difference matters to anyone deciding whether to sell here.

MINIMUM_ORDER_CENTSinexposure.mjs. - Largest order

What the video does not claim
These are the six things people most often assume a card marketplace does. None of them is true here, and none of them is planned as a surprise later.
- We never take possession of a card. There is no vault, no warehouse, and no facility. Every card goes from the seller straight to the buyer.
- We do not grade or authenticate anything. The grade and the grading company are whatever the seller stated.
- We do not check certificate numbers. Look the number up with the grading company yourself before you buy.
- We do not sell shipping labels or provide tracking. The seller arranges shipping and the tracking relationship is theirs.
- We are never the seller and never a party to the sale. The contract is between the two members; we charge a commission for running the venue.
Transcript
The spoken words, verbatim and in order. The captions track on the player carries the same text.
- Collectible Deck is a marketplace for trading cards, graded or raw. We are not the seller and never take possession.
- We do not grade or authenticate anything. A grade on a listing is the seller’s own statement, not ours.
- So here is how buying works. A seller signs in, accepts the selling guidelines, and lists a card.
- Grade and grading company are optional. We do not check certificate numbers against the grader, so check them with the grader yourself.
- Every listing is the seller’s own description of the card. Orders run from five dollars to five thousand.
- The seller ships directly to the buyer. We do not sell shipping labels, and we do not provide tracking.
- An automatic refund covers two situations only: the package is never scanned, or it is scanned and never delivered.
- The deadline is seven calendar days after the carrier’s estimated delivery date. It is not seven days after you paid.
- Once a delivery scan exists, no automatic refund is due, even if that scan arrives late.
- Opening a dispute cancels the automatic refund, so it never gets your money faster.
- A seller’s payout becomes eligible forty-eight hours after a delivery scan on the buyer’s package.
- A payout not yet released does not move while a dispute is open. Once released, nothing pulls it back.
- Sellers pay six point six two five percent of the item price, on the first seven thousand five hundred dollars.
- Plus fifteen cents per order. Buyers pay no marketplace fee at all.
- Trading charges each side three dollars up to five hundred, nine up to five thousand, twenty-five above that.
- Where the sides differ in value, cash settles one direction only. That is one whole transaction, from listing to payout.
The rest of it
The rules a seller agrees to are on the selling guidelines page. What the early-access form collects is in the privacy notice. If something in the video contradicts either of those pages, the written page is the one that governs.
